Description

Hi,
can i propose the feature in subject?

Now if the default gateway go down pfsense arent able to download the package and the squid service(and i think also the other service and package) arent able to go on internet without customized configuration as workaorund(using loopback).

But why don't make possible to nominate one gateway group as default gateway?
Or its my ideological mistake?
Thanks and sorry for my english,
andrea

I could see use for this too.

+1 - this would allow us to effectively tell pfSense what are the useful gateways, and in what priority order. It would remove the need to use "Allow default gateway switching" and the associated issues with that trying to second-guess a useful second gateway to failover to.
On the surface it seems a fairly easy thing to implement - is there some reason that it will be difficult? or should I have a look at how it can be done?
