The error is being hit on
23.09.1-RELEASE (amd64) built on Wed Dec 20 13:27:00 EST 2023 FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENT
This seems to a similar issue to https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/14034 but this has to do with OpenVPN tags. I'll get a merge request together this week.
