Description

In some circumstances, dhcp6c causes the WAN IPv6 IP to be lost after renewal, in circumstances that work fine with 2.2.x. The PDs remain and are correct, but minus the WAN-side IP they don't work. Described here.

Tracked down to the change here:
https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/net/dhcp6/files/patch-dhcp6c.c?revision=405216&view=markup

specifically looks to be the change from the patch here:
https://sourceforge.net/p/wide-dhcpv6/bugs/33/

Reverting just that one and leaving the remainder seems to resolve the problem.

pushed a change to omit that patch. System that used to fall apart within minutes is solid now.

works with the updated _7 package.

Renato: please review and let's get that change upstreamed.
