Looks like Namecheap's API is problematic for this use case. acme.sh decided not to attempt supporting it. Aside from the odd way it operates, it requires whitelisting static IP addresses for update sources, and it is not available to all customers (has account balance/purchase restrictions).

If they add support in a future version, we will add it in our GUI. In the meantime, use an alternate update method. There are ~30 other supported DNS update methods to choose from.
