Redmine pfSense - Feature #6832 (Resolved): [PATCH] Add the USB ID for the Sierra MC7430https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/68322016-09-30T01:14:42ZJose Luis Duranjlduran@gmail.com

Can you please cherry-pick commit 0c22163daba4a8ecc287e6b2f7060383c5e1dcb1 to add support for the Sierra MC7430?

Is it possible to have a
ln -s /var/log/dmesg.boot /var/run/dmesg.boot
? The
vm-bhyve
package expects the file at the standard location.

Is there a reason why
dmesg.boot
is under
varlog_path
instead of
varrun_path
?
pfSense - Feature #6240 (Resolved): vxlan driverhttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/62402016-04-23T02:14:15ZJose Luis Duranjlduran@gmail.com

The vxlan driver has been added since FreeBSD 10.2.
pfSense - Bug #6020 (Resolved): OSCP stapling misconfigurationhttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/60202016-03-22T11:43:35ZJose Luis Duranjlduran@gmail.com

Reviewing
/var/log/nginx-error.log
I found the following message:

"ssl_stapling" ignored, no OCSP responder URL in the certificate

This is because there is no
ssl_trusted_certificate
directive in the nginx configuration and it has the
ssl_stapling_verify on
.

http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_ssl_module.html#ssl_stapling_verify
http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_ssl_module.html#ssl_trusted_certificate
pfSense - Bug #6016 (Resolved): ovpn-linkup not populating IPv6 gatewayshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/60162016-03-20T05:34:07ZJose Luis Duranjlduran@gmail.com

I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior.

When configured as an OpenVPN (dual stack) client, the
/tmp/ovpn1_routerv6
is not generated by the
ovpn-linkup
shell script. The IPv6 OpenVPN gateway will be shown as dynamic, making it unusable for routing/rules.
pfSense - Bug #5512 (Resolved): RADIUS secret not properly escaped in strongswan.confhttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/55122015-11-21T18:39:18ZJose Luis Duranjlduran@gmail.com

If a RADIUS secret is, for example,
#secret-key#
, EAP-RADIUS authentication will fail, as the
#
can be interpreted by the
strongswan.conf
parser as a comment.

To avoid this from happening, set the key within double quotes.

PR #2103. If you plan on releasing 2.2.6, please backport.

Thanks.
pfSense - Feature #4732 (Resolved): Add MS-CHAPv2 option to L2TP Configurationhttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/47322015-05-26T20:12:07ZJose Luis Duranjlduran@gmail.com

If you need to validate L2TP/IPSec users with a Windows-based RADIUS Server (NPS/IAS), choosing CHAP from VPN:L2TP Configuration, Authentication Type will use MD5 CHAP, and the Windows Server will complaint that a reversibly encrypted password does not exist.

From the MPD documentation page,
chap
is an alias for
chap-md5 chap-msv1 chap-msv2
. As a proposed solution, I'm explicitly setting MS-CHAPv2.
pfSense - Bug #4668 (Closed): ID Column in Firewall Ruleshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/46682015-04-30T15:47:06ZJose Luis Duranjlduran@gmail.com

The ID column under firewall rules is always blank (v.2.2.2). Is it supposed to display
$i
?
