Todo #12296
closedExplicitly state where AutoConfigBackup stores encrypted backup data
100%
Description
Under Services > Auto Configuration Backup > Settings, it should be clearly stated that backups are sent to Netgate rather than saving locally on the device. Although encrypted, in some environments sending any data (especially the firewall config backup) this is unacceptable. Clearly stating that data is leaving the firewall to be stored by another party will reduce accidental configuration.

I did not intend for this to be created as bug, but as an enhancement. I am also aware this is clearly stated here: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/backup/autoconfigbackup.html To clarify, this needs to be reflected in the web interface of PFSense.
