Description
DY.fi added support for wildcard domains .myname.dy.fi on 15.12.2004 (https://www.dy.fi/?c=news). The wildcard ddns entries are updated the same way as normal ddns records e.g. by making request to https://www.dy.fi/nic/update?hostname=.myname.dy.fi. The wildcard can only be in the beginning of the entry.
Input validation on PFSense Dynamic DNS Client for DY.fi doesn't allow wildcard for host configuration and only gives 'The hostname contains invalid characters." error.
This prevents me from configuring my wildcard domain.
Would it be possible to allow wildcards in hostname for DY.fi Dynamic DNS Client.
