It would be helpful when one has reconfigured a network or hosts to be able to manually clear the collected MAC database. One example use of this is it allows a network audit to rediscover all devices.
Another very useful feature would be to allow an individual entry to be selected and an option given to delete that entry. If for example that devices DNS entry changes it would allow an easy refresh.
