Feature #13809
openAdd Netdata package
0%
Description
I would like to see the Netdata monitoring package added to pfSense.
This would allow a fleet of pfSense systems to be monitored from a single cloud dashboard, without allowing any inbound traffic and without exporting monitoring data or privileges.

It looks like the Netdata team are willing to work with the pfSense developer team to make this happen.

- Priority changed from Normal to Low
Making the netdata package and dependencies available in the repos should be pretty trivial, but in order to configure it it looks like you need to drop config files into /usr/local/etc/netdata, which means we'd need to add UI elements to generate config files for the package or just expect people to hand edit the configs. There appears to also be a command line application built in for configuring the software via terminal.
