Description
Currently there is no way to automatically apply a host override in the DNS resolver for IPV6 that has the dynamically provided host address from an ISP which can change with a reboot of a pfsense router or cable modem. While I can set an override in IPV4 for the router hostname and address, I can't do the same for IPV6 which results in delays in nslookup for machines hooked up to the network as it tries to lookup the host address.
I would suggest providing the ipv6 address from the ISP automatically while allowing the use of ::aaaa.bbbb.cccc.dddd to be placed in the host override. Alternatively this could be provided automatically or selected by a radio button.
Thanks,
