Description
In Advanced/Miscellaneous/Gateway Monitoring it says:
"The monitoring process will flush states for a gateway that goes down if this box is not checked. Check this box to disable this behavior".
However it doesn't just flush states for the gateway that goes down, it flushes all states (I believe this change was introduced in 2.1).
I suggest changing the text to something like: "The monitoring process will flush all states if any gateway goes down if this box is not checked. Check this box to disable this behavior"

I see this is marked as resolved, but it's still wrong on 2.3.b.20160125.0424
State Killing on Gateway Failure: Flush all states when a gateway goes down
The monitoring process will flush all states when a gateway goes down if this box is not checked. Check this box to disable this behavior.
Default is checked, and that does flush states when gateway goes down.

Øistein: thanks for the report. That's a completely separate issue from what was noted here. I opened #5815 for that issue.
