Description

Just as there is a copy action on firewall rules, please add the same action to OpenVPN server / client pages. Example, if someone is creating multiple VPN client connections to VPN providers, they don't need to copy / paste or compare two windows if they have copy action.

Also, unrelated to above, double clicking on available OpenVPN clients or servers on OpenVPN page doesn't automatically open / edit settings. I know there is a redmine ticket for that stuff but I can't find it.

Thanks,
Ivor

  • Target version changed from 2.3 to Future

Setting this to "future" since we are not adding new features at this point. We are in "late Beta" mode, so bug fixes only now.

A huge benefit as ISPs seem to be starting to pick off VPN connections and blocking access to VPN servers that are seen as persistent connections. Very hard to replicate a NordVPN connection by hand every time.

Seems to work fine for me on 2.4.5 snaps. The icon is there, I can make copies, they save and run OK.

I was able to accidentally create two servers using the same tunnel network because #3244 wasn't picked back to 2.4.5, but I corrected that. That problem case can be tested there since it's not technically a part of this issue.
