Description

The dhcp relay will relay dhcp requests that arrive on it's upstream interface, where the dhcp server is, resulting in duplicate requests arriving at the server.
The dhcp relay should only listen for requests on the downstream interface.
This behaviour has been patched in Debian but not made it up stream yet.
