Description

Hi,

right now I'm using a custom DynDNS service for VPN connectivity. The problem is that you can't set the hostname anywhere and in the OpenVPN client export the hostname field is empty.
So it would be nice if we could have a simple text field that accepts the hostname of the custom DynDNS update and makes it available to other applications.

KR,

G.

Hi,

had the same problem with the missing hostname on my dynamic dns client page.
i was able to help myself with this workaround.
i used it on pfsense ce v2.7.0-RELEASE.

i edited the current active custom setting

1.) switch to another "Service Type" (ex. Azure DNS)
2.) fill in your hostname under "Hostname"
3.) switch back your "Service Type" to custom
4.) hit save.

the bugfix itself, should be simple - but i am no pfsense developer.
