Bug #7797
openSquid Reverse Proxy alternating between destinations
0%
Description
Hello,
It's pretty hard to explain this bug, but it seems to be very old bug. This post explain it perfectly: https://networkengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/23421/squid-reverse-proxy-alternating-between-destinations
I actually have 6 Web Servers active with a good mapping. Work pretty well, but when i try to add another one Web Server, all of my urls keeps alternating between destinations.
According to the post i linked above, the bug does not occur in 2.1.5 PfSense version.

As noted on another bug (Bug #7752), the reverse proxy part of Squid is pretty much unmaintained. I'd strongly suggest to use HAproxy for reverse proxy purposes. If you can positively confirm that removing whitespace fixes the bug, I can have a look. Otherwise, not much interest.

I don't have whitespace at all in my name. So the issue is not from that for me. Imma give a look to HAproxy. Thanks!
