Adding an option for that, which would be of no use to the vast majority of users and would only serve as a source of confusion, does not seem likely. <p>Well the user forums for 2.4 dev. seems to be pretty much filled up with the same issues. Anyway, some say it might have been fixed in FreeBSD 11.1 which will be used with pfSense 2.4.1.</p>
<p>I do however strongly disagree that it will be any confusion, with a proper description this is easy to avoid. Something like: "if you experience trouble rebooting, you can try this option instead" it's just about toggling and make an option.</p>
