Implemented this. Also found issues with the buttons not lining up correctly for mobile clients. I included the fix for both in the same commit. I was only able to test mobile clients on my setup. Some other tests that would be good to try to make sure it didn't break anything are IKEv1, IKEv2 with split connections.

IPsec IDs show up and look correct in the tunnels I have configured.

On 2.4.4.a.20180720.1408, IPsec IDs like con1000: #1 (phase one) and conn1000: #2 (phase two) show correctly on the Status > IPsec page. Looks good here.
Fixed #8598 Added IPsec ID to the table, Moved the disconnect button over to better fit the page, Also fixed the disconnect button and show child button for mobile clients
