Hello,

I have updated Squid and the ACL issue is still there.
When editing the Squid Guard Proxy Filter I noticed that the settings after saving are not loaded.

Common ACL /Group ACL - Target Rules List - does not load, it shows the WhileList as "----" and it should be preselected as "allow" Or "deny"

Any idea?
pfSense Packages - Bug #8945: SquidGuard ACL blacklistshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8945?journal_id=385532018-09-26T06:00:42ZCharles Melo

I have the same problem, the outline solution that I applied was to include the direct acls in the configuration file (/usr/local/etc/squidGuard/squidGuard.conf), this way squdguard worked correctly. It looks like the update does not update configuration file and neither does the frontend display the options.
pfSense Packages - Bug #8945: SquidGuard ACL blacklistshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8945?journal_id=385542018-09-26T06:37:13ZHelio Candidohelio@senaaires.com.br

The same issue here. We have 3 pfsense servers and squid/squidguard stopped to work correctly in all of them. There are lots of PHP error/reports when we trying to reconfigure them. We just rollback because that new update make impossible to work with the servers.
pfSense Packages - Bug #8945: SquidGuard ACL blacklistshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8945?journal_id=385932018-09-27T12:55:54Zlahoucine El kamel

I had to rollback too...
pfSense Packages - Bug #8945: SquidGuard ACL blacklistshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8945?journal_id=386412018-09-28T21:23:05ZMarcel Beerli

Any indication when this is getting fixed?
Its in PackageProxy filter SquidGuard: Common Access Control List (ACL)Common ACL and
Proxy filter SquidGuard: Groups Access Control List (ACL)EditGroups ACL

also with squid: 0.4.44_5

So basically unusable right now, no protection, correct?
pfSense Packages - Bug #8945: SquidGuard ACL blacklistshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8945?journal_id=386622018-10-01T01:15:43ZIssa Jacamanjacaman.issa@gmail.com

I was on release 2.4.3-RELEASE-p1 (amd64) and did package updates to
squidGuard -> 1.16.17_3
squid -> 0.4.44_5
I was thinking I would not have this Bug #8945, but I have it now and I am still with 2.4.3-Release-p1.
pfSense Packages - Bug #8945: SquidGuard ACL blacklistshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8945?journal_id=386632018-10-01T03:39:35ZMarcel Beerli

Then it looks like its in either of the 2 packages. (squid or squidGuard), probably squidGuard
pfSense Packages - Bug #8945: SquidGuard ACL blacklistshttps://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8945?journal_id=386642018-10-01T04:10:20ZIssa Jacamanjacaman.issa@gmail.com

Then it looks like its in pfSense 2.4.4 not in the packages.
Lets hope it gets addressed in 2.4.4.1
