PPPoE uptime incorrect on pfSense reboot

Description
PPPoE uptime doesn't immediately reflect the actual uptime once pfSense has been rebooted, seems to be proportional to the uptime of the PPPoE connection prior to reboot.
Within 2.4 it just shows as -, after about 1 or 2 hours it comes right. If I disconnect and reconnect, the expected uptime is immediately displayed.
This also affected 2.2 and 2.3 if I recall correctly.

PPPoE uptime on reboot is zero. Not exactly sure what "proportion" are you expecting.
Typically a PPPoE connection should have been established during the reboot and be ready by the time one sees the console menu. If after say 15min post reboot I then go and log into the Web GUI, I would expect to see a PPPoE uptime of roughly 15min, not just - as shown within the attached snip. If one ignores this for long enough the - starts displaying a PPPoE uptime.
If one does an immediate reboot again after a reboot, the uptime shown corrects faster than say having 1 week of PPPoE uptime prior to reboot.
Hope this clarifies the issue.
Cannot reproduce any such issue. In fact, it's working for multiple users, see #6032. (The widgets uses pretty much the same code to check the uptime, so if you are telling us that "all looks good" with the widget [1], this makes no sense whatsoever.)

The comment on widget was that the widget is working as it should, it's showing the interface uptime be it correct with a value or just a -.As the interface uptime itself is not related to the widget request I thought it was best to bring the issue up separately.

It works fine here, too. I have a test VM with two PPPoE WANs and an L2TP WAN and the uptime is correct in the widget and on Status > Interfaces at boot time, reboot time, and so on.
Neither the interfaces widget nor the status page refresh automatically via AJAX so if you caught it before the line(s) came up you wouldn't see a time until the page is reloaded.
