Description

Having installed pfSense 2.4.5 on an PC Engines APU2E4 Board with 16GB SSD and 4GB of RAM. Due to some misconfiguration decided to re-install pfSesnse again.

Downloaded the AMD serial image (which I used for the first installation, too).
Connected through a USB-to-serial cable (as during first installation).

Installation always aborted in the shell due to an error (didd not note it down, sorry) whithout even getting to the first installation menus.

Booted with an Linux rescue disk through serial and wiped existing partitions and re-tried installation which went fine finally.

What I expected:
Installation going through and wiping existing pfSense/BSD partitions to install properly

What happened:
As long as the partition layout from the previous install still existed, installation was not possible.
