Description

Implementation of timeout for remote administration when some change (in ACL for example, in fw rules, etc., ) may cause remote admin link drop off.
Like “*reload in min*” / “*reload cancel*” CLI commands in CISCO when device back to previous success configuration.

Usecase:
Remote admin login ok
Remote admin switch pfSense to “Reload in” Mode by pressing “Reload in 10” button in GUI
Remote admin make some changes in preferences where potentially remote link possible drop
Remote admin test changes
Remote admin save the config manually by GUI (or automatically when switch pfSense back to Normal Mode by pressing “Reload Cancel” button in GUI)
Remote admin log off

Because COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on traveling in many countries, and limited ability to traveling, remote administrating rapidly increase.
And this feature help many of Administrators in many installations across the world not to loose connect with device, avoid head pain with reinstalling, downtime of structure, share local access to device to someone else to restore last config, shipping forward and back the applience from customer, etc...

Thank You!
