Static dhcp lease is showing offline in the dhcp lease page, even if the computer is online.

- Status changed from New to Rejected
works fine. the host has to be active in the firewall's ARP cache to show online, so it won't if it's not accessing the Internet. There is no other way to determine that.

even if i ping from the lan interface, its still offline. maybe we could setup a way to ping certain specific lease so the gateway can have an up-to-date what is online and what is not.

wouldn't scale, and would take way too long to load the page. It works, I just tried it.
