Description

Hi,

I just upgraded my pfSense from 2.4.5 to version 2.5.0 and I cannot edit or create nested alias.

I am getting the message below while saving:

You must use this format: An IPv4 address like 1.2.3.4, an IPv6 address range, FQDN or an alias.

Basically I cannot not add an alias inside other alias.

Cheers,

Thiago.

I can't reproduce the problem as stated even using your exact inputs. Either there is some missing factor not visible in your screenshots, or something else happening in your browser.

This site is not for support or diagnostic discussion.

Please post on the Netgate Forum and supply more details about your alias configuration, including the contents of the aliases from config.xml. You don't need to provide any sensitive/personal IP addresses so long as you can reproduce the problem with the specific inputs you provide in the forum post. Include details of the aliases being included as well as the one you are attempting to create. Use text, not screenshots, so that those attempting to help can copy/paste the exact values you use rather than guessing from screenshot contents.

See Reporting Issues with pfSense Software for more information.

Really sorry, I have cleaned up my browser cache and it worked again.

Sorry about the inconvenience.
