Description

I tried to install Open VMware Tools, the tool successfully installed.
From the console I could see the system detect new interface (VMXNET2).
When I tried to enable this interface (which is assigned to OPT1), the pfSense system crashed.
-----------------
The vm is hardware version 7, FreeBSD 64-bit config running on VMware ESXi 4.1 Hypervisor.
pfSense is install from CD image 2.0 BETA5 (pfSense-2.0-BETA5-20101231-0823.iso.gz)
It is running fine if I do not enable the new interface. From VMware vSphere Client I could see the pfSense WAN, LAN IP address & gateway normally.
VMtool is the open-vm-tools-313025 from what I saw in the web package installer interface.

I (re)-found this topic on pfSense forum:

-----------
I remember the Open VM Tools has been updated to the same as tools in VMWare Player 7.
I'm not sure the problem I meet is real bug now.

this is probably fixed with the most recent package. If not, it's not our bug, it's in some other component we can't do anything about.
