Description

Hi,
Just made a support ticket to Netgate #80195 and was prompted to summit a bug report here.
In version 2.5.0 a Realtek USB NIC is found by OS but are not assigned an "ue" like in earlier versions.
This was a known issue, please add this support back to the next release.

Thanks,
Ase

I was caught by that omission too when upgrading my 'travel' firewall from 2.4.5 to 2.5 . I couldn't easily rollback at the time so I rolled forward to 2.6-DEVELOPMENT which does have the 'ue' driver if you still need it. Not ideal, but runtime stability has returned to the development version following the recent wire guard removal.

Thanks for the information Vincent,
Lets hope this will be fixed already in the next release.
