PPPOE not working VPN not workin Blocking internet and pfsense gui is blocked after upgrade 2.4.5 to 2.5.1

i not sure if i filled in the problems the in proper format you guys want from the page requirements.. hope its ok
i tried to upgrade from 2.4.5 to 2.5.1 smoothly but it doesnt
i posted in the forums and in the end they told me to report it as a bug
WAN interface looses DHCP,none,static.. from using PPPOE.. PPPOE only works when you first load the config file.
if you decide to disable and re enable it no longer works.
Internet when works only works to the PFSENSE nothing on the network works
anything that uses WAN can only use PING but web browsing etc is disabled.. and you can access Pfsense gui
anything that uses VPN can not ping or use internet either, and Pfsense gui is unaccessable
anything that uses OpenVPN site to Site is also disabled i can not link to the other pfsense box
i tried loading each restore area one at a time.. from the 2.4.5 config file it craps out on static routes and another thing something to do about xml error
i have link to the topic i opened in the forum. and some pics and what i experienced and tried

also the gui becomes un responsive at times or it decide to work in 1 browser then not in another..
i tried console restart web configurator doesnt always help.

I can't reproduce anything like that here on PPPoE -- please keep the discussion going on your forum thread until a more accurate diagnosis can be identified. It sounds more like it might be related to DNS than DHCP, but the details are still unclear.
Also note that part of what you stated is expected and you're perhaps not working with the interface as you need to be. When you first change an interface to PPPoE it's changed significantly -- the firewall automatically makes an entry on the PPPs tab and the interface is reassigned to be based on that, which can only be PPPoE from that point. To change away from PPPoE to something like DHCP or static you have to go back to the assignments list and change it to use the physical parent interface again, then remove the PPP tab entry.

do you need me to send you my config file.. i been trying to transition 3 days now today be the 4th.
when you say note that the state is expected do you mean that its supposed to block internet block several OpenVPN client setup
so im lost.. there is no help in forums.. cuz they state its a bug you upgrade from a working pfsense.. to a broken pfsense that says internet is working but its not working
i have done more then 20 times.. importing the config file while 2.51 is installed.. i have tried in 2.4.5 set it to DHCP upgrade to 2.5.1 via the gui and its broken again
VPN is up internet is up Only for the pfsense box.. everything after pfsense box is locked out..
but ill retry
but i can attach my config files.. works fine in 2.4.5. once upgraded to 2.5.1 via the gui its broken.. i thought its supposed to be automated

i seen the ppp on the 2.4.5 so your saying it gets deleted in 2.5.1. so i gotta re add it
PPPOe WAN OpenVPN NordVPN Site OPEN VPN all works 2.4.5
upgrade to 2.5.1 via gui
PPPOe WAN Nord Vpn <works only to the pfsense box 2.5.1
PPPOe Want NORD VPN Site To Site <does not work to anything on the network 2.5.1

also packages dont import it sticks on Please wait while the update system initializes
does nothing i guess thats new from 2.4 least it said dont touch the gui
also i learned conf/config. place your config file on the pfsense
it restores things it semi works.. but pacages do not install no please dont make any changes.. etc
just tells you under package manager no packages installed..
so either gui screen to say packages are being installed has been removed.. or its not bothering to important packages
from the conf/config file or from the backup restore page

also Nord VPN is down will not connect or if it doesn no internet and then goes down
Site to Site OPENVPN does connect to another Pfsense box but thats it.. only access the pfsense
anything on that network is blocked out.. so access is blocked
