Description

Once interfaces have been renamed there does not seem to be an easy way to identify which OPTX interface it used to be, to allow me to rename the alias to something understandable.
Preferably the alias should be created with the assigned interface name or display the assigned interface name in the details page.

  • Status changed from New to Rejected

Given the free-form nature of interface descriptions that isn't viable, and they would also not update if an interface was renamed. You can always look at the rules tabs to see which interface used that alias, or look at Status > Interfaces which lists both the customized and internal names so you can easily tell which interface is opt10.
