Description

pfSense keeps rebooting and crashing after I created more than one wireless interface. This might have been the reason why updating from Pfsense 2.4.5-p1 to 2.5.2 using the web interface didnt work for me since I had 3 wireless interfaces configured with the same card.

I am using a PCengines (AMD GX-412TC SOC) with a wle200nx wireless card, I had no issues with PFsense 2.4.X .

using the following settings:
<mode>hostap</mode>
<standard>11na</standard>
<protmode>off</protmode>
<ssid>CleanPig</ssid>
<channel>36</channel>

You might try again on 2.6.0 but that is likely a problem with that specific card or chipset and its VAP support, or maybe a slight chance at an OS driver bug. All of which are outside of our control, but may be fixed in the newer base version of FreeBSD on the new releases that happened today.
