Description

A cosmetic / UX issue.

Issue:

When CPU powerd / scaling is enabled, the "Current: X MHz, Max: Y MHz" text is displayed intermittently. It appears to only be shown when the current scaled-down MHz value is different from the max / default.

Impact:

This causes that area of the screen to "jump", moving all following text and panels up/down one line. Since there can be some clickable UI elements below it, that can sometimes (briefly) cause mis-clicks. It can also just be visually distracting.

Solutions:

There are probably multiple ways to resolve the issue: the speed could either always be shown (maybe only when powerd is actually enabled), or could always be suppressed. I personally find it informative, so I would favor always showing it (but only when powerd is enabled, otherwise it's redundant with the general CPU information above it).
