I would like the option of having gateway groups with no members, or perhaps a null entry if needed.

Why¶

I have 2 gateway groups, privacy and scraping. These are used in various firewall rules.

I want to disable all gateways in the scraping group so I can reuse the 5 VPN connections for other things. I do have a kill switch in place.

I must leave one gateway in the group other wise I get an error when I attempt to save, which I cannot.

I can delete the interfaces which prevents them being used in the group but this is like cracking a nut with a sledge hammer. :)

Keeping the groups present has the positive effect of:

• Administration is easier because you don't have to delete your groups
• The groups can be left in place in all of your firewall rules
• You can move your interfaces about
