Bug #14285
closedFatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
0%
Description
Been using system for years and suddenly page fault error causing reboot it seems - during very low load/low traffic and no maintenance going on. Has similar issue 2-3 years ago every month and then it was strangely solved by removing LAG/team on LAN-interface and trying this upgrade to dev-version. Now error is back without doing any upgrade during the years. I have broken the LAG-team long time ago, but have now used once of the interface for private/local network only.
Happened during normal run hours, nothing going on days before the incident. After reboot, it seems fine. But happened two times now, approx same time of day. No disk error (raid-1)/smart-error or any similar issue found. Nothing strange in logs before the crash. I have included all log entries around the crash time and before.
Running only few packages: Wireguard, pfBlockerNG-devel, arping, acme (not changed for 2 years)
Have small suspect that it happens by rare IPSec tunnel activation/routing or issue with this single interface (also weird, since it is same card). System made by professional Supermicro vendor 2017. Error occurs on two separate units from different years (same model), same setup/cpu/disk-layout. Seen error on 2.6 and 2.7.
