Description

This fairly simple suggestion arises from experience some time ago updating 2.6 to 2.7, where release notes stated "To give an upgrade the best possible chance of going smoothly, uninstall all packages before starting the upgrade".

With multiple packages or multiple installs, that means for every installed package:

- click on trash can
- wait for package details to load
- click on "confirm"
- wait for removal (no chance to do other things as its not so long)
- wait for "successfully completed" prompt
- click on "installed packages
- wait for list of packages to be obtained, formatted and displayed (tedious and a bit long)
- repeat for each of 20 - 25 packages

if there was a left side checkbox to select the packages to be installed (on the "available" tab) or removed (on the "installed" tab), one could simply select all applicable packages, confirm the list once, and let it loop through the selection, with a summary of which ones succeeded, which ones failed.

Can this be added, because this kind of need is bound to come up in future other times, and seems simple enough and pretty common.

Thanks
