Description

Receive the following error message in the NTP log when using a serial GPS with PPS output connect to a serial COM port. Does not seem to actually affect processing of the PPS signal (see attached ntp status output). I can manually create the symbolic link to /dev/cuau0 to eliminate the error message

ppsdev_open(/dev/gpspps0) failed

Configured NTP Serial GPS tab to use both the NMEA messages and kernel level PPS processing.

Model: Garmin 18X LVC
