Brilliant pfSense DevTeam!
Filtering in sockets - would be VERY USABLE when determining state and functionality of FreeBSD system services AND additional packages when resolving issues in pfSense functionality.
The WebGUI view similar to “Advanced Log Filter” in Status / System Logs

It's not clear which page you are talking about specifically -- Diagnostics > Sockets perhaps (diag_sockets.php)?
If so, it would probably be easy to set it up with some JS filtering similar to what is on the package list, certificate list, and DHCP leases.
