Bug #15760
closedTypo in Snort Important Preproc Information
100%
Description
Hello,
I am letting you know that there is a typo,
located in the Important Preprocessor Information message.
I have attached two Images providing visual proof of the message and version of pfSense my system is running.
Which appears at the top of the settings page.
The message is located under;
[Snort Interfaces > LAN Preprocs]
Services / Snort / Interface Settings / LAN - Preprocessors and Flow
The sixth word is misspelt.
'enbled'
Where it should spell;
'enabled'
Here is a copy of the entire message box.
@Important Preprocessor Information
Rules may be dependent on enbled preprocessors! Disabling preprocessors may result in Snort startup failure unless all of the corresponding preprocessor-dependent rules are also disabled. Do not disable any default-enabled preprocessors on this page unless you are very skilled with using Snort. If you experience Snort start-up errors or failures after making changes to preprocessors, trying resetting all preprocessor configurations to their defaults, and then attempt to start Snort.
