Description

Environment:
Dyndns: Profile Custom (duckdns).
Firewall State Policy -> Floating states.
Gateway group with two WANs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 (failover).
Interface to monitor and Interface to send update from, both set to this gateway group.

What is happening:
Gateway is down (dpinger failed to ping the monitor IP), but the IP is not being updated.
IP is shown as green in dyndns page.
Tried to force an update by clicking in: Save & Force Update, but nothing happens, the same IP from the gateway that is down, remains there in green state.

What should happen:
When the gateway is down, dyndns should update the duckdns IP to the second WAN (Tier 2).

Steps to reproduce:
Create a gateway group.
Create a duckdns account and create a hostname.
Configure dyndns in pfSense to use that hostname, and the gateway group.
Change the monitor IP from Tier 1 gateway to one that won`t reply to ICMP packets, to confirm the behavior.

Please, let me know if I can provide more details about this problem.

Thanks.

You can close this one, somehow it started to work without any intervention.

Thanks, Netgate team.
