I frequently run into pfsense:s that have a older version of the Base System but don't let me upgrade from option 13 until I either log in to the web gui and set the branch to the new current stable or run the bootstrap and update commands in the shell.
It would be nice to have an option to set the branch from the console menu.
Maybe as a sub menu to 13 or a check and question during the running of 13.

I can confirm this is an issue that would helpfully be resolved by adding a console menu option.
This is especially true since we no longer auto-switch the repos to the latest anymore and force users to manually select the latest repo branch.
