Description

Nano makes editing scripts on the system a lot easier from the CLI. At the moment, I have to manually add via CLI "pkg install nano"

As you stated, it's available in the package repository. The default installation already contains the ee "easy editor" and vi which are both part of the FreeBSD base installation.
