Description

I have configured a Alcatel/TCL LinkKey IK41VE1 USB 4G router (https://www.tcl.com/global/en/routers/tcl-linkkey-ik41) on my pfSense 2.8.1 and I can confirm it works "out of the box".

pfSense recognises it as an USB Ethernet interface immediately (switching it to Ethernet mode automatically).

Setting the interface IPv4 settings to DHCP obtains an IP in the range 192.168.1.100-192.168.1.200, and the gateway is set to 192.168.1.1. The IP assigned to the interface can be used to access the router's configuration panel. The router IP and DHCP range cannot be changed, but in some firmwares using "hidden" configuration pages, i.e. http://192.168.1.1/default.html#settings/adminSetup.html - I didn't try, though, since I didn't use the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet.

Removing and re-inserting the key is OK - still need to test a whole pfSense reboot, need a reboot window.
