Description
I created a pfSense cluster with 2 members, using CARP IPs and XMLRPC for configuration sync.
I noticed that XMLRPC seems to strip certain characters (e.g. dots, parentheses) from the descriptions of Firewall:Rules when it syncs them from the CARP Master over to the CARP Slave.
E.g. rule description
QoS - Catch TOS 0x30 traffic (Squid cache HIT)
becomes
QoS - Catch TOS 0x30 traffic Squid cache HIT
