Description

It would be excellent if the captive portal sent authentication request by mac on activity for any protocol, not just HTTP, currently only does when it receives an HTTP request, it is so difficult to do?

If the Captive Portal detect activity and cannot authenticate the user by MAC ok nothing happens, but if find the MAC in the freeradius database allow traffic immediately.

I see you do not want to develop it for version 2.1, but keep it in mind for future versions, is very useful for various need. Thank you.

I would love to see this functionality too. Many apartment complexes are starting to use this and having authentication happen on any traffic, not just HTTP would allow things like smart tvs and such to work through the captive portal (after their MAC has been added to the database that RADIUS is using for authentication of course.)
