Description

1. I have posted this in the forum at http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,63793.0.html

The upgrade status screen does not go away even after a day of upgrade. Actually what has it been doing so long? It would be nice if there is a progress bar or information on what exactly it is doing for more than 24 hours like Phil Davis suggested (http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,63793.msg345358.html#msg345358)

2. Some packages, particularly tinc, disappeared from menu after upgrade, though the install package displays the package installed. I discussed this at http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,63889.0.html

That happens when a package has failed to reinstall, which is a problem with a specific package in most cases. Check the console for the actual output indicating the problem, and keep working on the forum threads. There isn't a "bug" to fix here so to speak, in the main pfSense code.

You can clear the package lock to reset that screen (Diag > Backup/Restore, Clear Package Lock)
