Description

Have suggestion to make package info page(which are link in package manager) to be created in wiki
(http://doc.pfsense.org) something similar to http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/SquidGuard_package as a mandatory.

Wiki can contain lot of information like:

Requirements and compatibility information
Installation Guide
FAQ's
Support Topic Link
GIT/SVN information
Author information

May be a separate category for packages with version hierarchy can be created in Wiki
-Wiki
--Packages[category]
----version[2.0.X] [sub category]
----version[2.1.X] [sub category]

And have Wiki Package template which can be used by Package authors and editors.

All this information is missed out in forum topic's. And many common issue have to be repeatedly discussed and are hard to find for the users.
