Description
I have pfsense 2.1-RC2 (i386) built on Fri Sep 6 19:47:34 EDT 2013
When I create a ipsec configuration and I select clients in Mobile User Authentication (Local Database) in the configuration file racoon.conf inserts
(Auth_source external;) I can not make the connection ipsec because I do not find the user manually editing the racoon.conf and putting (auth_source system;) connection is successful.

It's not an issue, it's always set to external, and a script is called to deal with authentication, as you can see on parameter "extcfg".
If you have questions you should try Forums and/of Mailing lists and open a ticket here only if it's a confirmed bug.

in the pfsense 2.1rc it's not possible add the permission "User - VPN - IPsec xauth Dialin" in the user manager and this is the messagge: racoon: user 'xxxx' cannot authenticate through IPSec since the required privileges are missing.
