Description

Some times, when the ISP changes the WAN IP address and pfSense reconnects to Internet, the OpenVPN client connections don't restart.
The way I found to restart the connection is entering the OpenVPN Client settings and click save button.
The version I'm testing is Nano BSD 2.1.1 PRERELEASE on an Alix box.
I've been experimenting some refresh problems sinse upgraded to 2.1.
I've tested IPv6 with HE tunnel broker and the same thing happened when my IPv4 changed.
Also, it happened the same with my dynamic DNSs entries. Sometimes they updated and sometimes they didn't.
But sinse I updated to the latest 2.1.1 nightly buid, the only problem that persists is with the OpenVPN Client connections that I have configured.

  • Target version deleted (2.1.1)

The subject isn't true in all cases at least. Needs testing to see if it's replicable and find the actual specific cause.

not known to be an issue. Unless something more specific as to an actual problem can be added, this will be closed. Leaving in Feedback for now.
