Description

pfSense is installed as VM in VMware ESXi (4, 5.1, 5.5), when pfSense is under high traffic (bandwidth or numerous concurrent connections), CPU usage as shown in ESXi is extraordinary high while CPU usage as shown in the guest OS (pfSense) is very low. we can only control CPU usage inside the guest, if it's low, the host should be reporting low as well (which it pretty much always does). Where it isn't, that's VMware's problem.
