Hi

I tried asking in the forum but I guess its not a common problem.

I will very happily try to help track this issue down.

I have a vmxnet3 driver installed from the vmware tools on ESXi 5.5u1 according to the pfsense documentation, but as far as I can tell even if the MTU is set to 9000 on the interface it is still only showing up as 1500.

If this is a configuration issue I humbly appologise, if its a driver related problem I hope we can figure it out.

that is indeed an issue with FreeBSD 8.3, confirmed fixed in 2.2.
