Description

Hi there

Pfsense 2.2 upgrade has gone very smoothly on all but one of my machines. Unfortunately one happened to be on an Atom D510MO board, with onboard Realtek NIC. Upon completion of the upgrade I was told that the config references re0 which no longer exists and to re-run the setup wizard.

Boot messages show:
re0: <RealTek 8168/8111 B/C/CP/D/DP/E/F/G PCIe Gigabit Ethernet> port 0x2000-0x20ff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci1
re0: Using 1 MSI-X message
re0: Chip rev. 0x20000000
re0: MAC rev. 0x00000000
re0: Unknown H/W revision: 0x20000000
device_attach: re0 attach returned 6

This card previously worked perfectly with pfsense 2.1.

Should mention I tried adding if_re.ko and if_rl.ko from FreeBSD 10.1 to /boot/modules with no success.

drivers are outside our control, we only follow up with ones relevant to things we sell @ store.pfsense.org. Please report upstream to FreeBSD.
