Description

#4539, translated from spanish:

In release 2.2.1, taking active multiwan and 2 Nameservers for 2 ISP (configured in System | General Setup) , and unbound (DNS Resolver) activated and the "DNS Query Forwarding" option active ( "Enable Forwarding Mode" ), the detect issue is:

The DNS queries generated by pfSense for internal use (pe: ntp host querys) agains any of the 4 DNS server, are always done from the Wan interface , regardless of what is indicated in System | General Setup.

I tried to force the right gateway (putting together Nat Outbound rules and Floating Rules) for outbound connections against the DNS networks owns to OPT2 (wan2) ISP, through the IP source OPT2 using the corresponding gateway. No success.

I think this is a bug, but if it's possible make a workarround, I appreciate such information.

I'm sorry my poor english.

not a bug, the gateways add routes there, though other things can override. Please post specifics to the forum for further assistance.
