Description

Hello,

This night i launched the upgrade from my production pfSense 2.1.5 to 2.2.2 x64.
The upgrade is running since 13h, the routing functions work but anything else doesn't (openvpn, etc).

I can access the web gui which still tells me "An upgrade is currently in progress. The firewall will reboot when the operation is complete."
I cannot access via ssh, nor console which tells me reapeatly "Apr 3 10:00:37 getty35720: getty: unknown gettytab entry 'bootupcli'"

Is there anything i can do ?
I have a backup pfSense with the config of the production one which i can swap quite fast in the case i have to make offline tests with the production one.

Regards,
Ozy.

Well, finally, after 15 hours, the pfSense rebooted and is up and ready !!!

None of my packages got reinstalled.
So every package i try to configure ends with something like this in the UI:
Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed; If you would like to pass argument by reference, modify the declaration of before_form_nut(). in /usr/local/www/pkg_edit.php(127) : eval()'d code on line 1

Is there a manual way to trigger reinstall all packages ?

Thanks.

What a shame i didn't see the "Reinstall all packages" button in Diagnostics > Backup & Restore

Anyway, reinstalling all packages via that button ended with
"Executing custom_php_install_command()...done." which stayed for like an hour.

I had to relaunch the reinstall via that button three times until i finally got

"All packages reinstalled".
